Southport Festival is an explosion of arts and culture event across the town and King's Gardens is involved.
As part of the festival, the Gardens will be hosting a family art project to create flowers from recylced plastic bottles. Once created, the flowers will be installed on the islands to create a bloom fit for The Queens 90th birthday.
Later on in the day, the first of the now famous Outdoor Cinemas returns for the new season. The film is Minions, a popular choice on our vote earlier in the year. As with previous film evenings, the screening is free but we do ask a donation of £2 per person to support future screening.
Why not make a whole day of it at the Festival and incorporate these two activities into your day?
