If you have read previous blogs about the Green Machine you will know this year a project they developed was the rubbings trail. The children decided what the rubbings would be, based on objects from the gardens; they drew the objects for the rubbings and designed the booklet ingeniously named ‘King’s Trail’.
The rubbings are out in the gardens for you to find, there are eight in total can you find them??
The booklet is available to download or pick a printed copy up from one of these places:
Southport Eco Centre, Esplanade, Southport PR8 1RX
Tourist Information, The Atkinson, Lord Street, Southport PR8 1DX
Parenting 2000, The Lodge, Mornignton Road, Southport, PR9 0TS
Linaker Children’s Centre, Linaker County Primary School, Linaker Street Entrance, PR8 5DB
Marine Café, King’s Gardens
So why not print or collect a copy and head down to the gardens with a crayon and complete your own rubbings in the booklet?
