Sensory Garden

What an amazing addition to the Community Garden, a beautiful sensory garden created by the Gardening Group and the Green Machine. The King’s Gardens Community Garden is maintained by volunteers, with support from Sefton Council when requested. The gardening volunteers work hard all year round to ensure the Community Garden is tended ensuring it remains looking pristine for all visitors to enjoy.

New Steps

The newly refurbished steps are nearly complete; the steps are accessible with new hand rails, colour contrasting steps and bubbled paving at the bottom, helping visually impaired people navigate the steps. The completion of the steps brings the capital works programme for King’s Gardens to an end.

Plant of the Month -Heather

Southport is rich is cultural communities that live and visit the town and the event is to bring all together to showcase music, dance, poetry, food, products native to an area.
